building blocks of astrology.
Before we can learn about the astrological principles, it is important to get acquainted with some basic questions related to astrology - what is astrology, what are its beginnings, how does it work and what is its purpose?
This chapter includes articles that form the basis for understanding the astrological principles that will be presented in the following chapters. This chapter also includes articles on some broader issues related to the understanding of astrology. In addition, you will also find useful online links to explore astrology and more.

SIGNS
Meet the twelve basic
astrological archetypes.
Signs are the part of astrology that just about everyone knows. What's more, people who are unfamiliar with astrology, often equate it with the twelve signs. This is also the reason why many people reject astrology as complete nonsense since it makes no sense to categorize people into only twelve different personalities. This statement is, of course, completely accurate - we humans are complex and our Sun sign cannot possibly describe us fully. The signs represent archetypes and do not describe anyone’s personality until we combine their meaning with the meaning of the planets and houses in an individual’s birth chart.
In this chapter, we will first take a look at the components from which the signs are built. A good understanding of these components is important, as the characteristics of each sign are a combination of the components. The second part of the chapter is dedicated to the the basic characteristics of individual astrological signs. The descriptions of the signs are archetypal and do not describe anyone's personality.

PLANETS
Read all about the meaning of the individual planets in astrology.
Astrological planets represent basic impulses of human nature. Astrology considers as planets certain celestial bodies that are not considered to be planets in astronomy, i.e. the Sun and the Moon (the so-called luminaries) and Pluto, which astronomy considers to be a dwarf planet. We always interpret the planets according to the sign and house in which they are located, and according to the aspects they create with other planets in the astrological chart. These information help us understand how each planet expresses its characteristics in an individual’s life.
This chapter contains descriptions of the individual planets and their basic characteristics, as well as their division into different categories, according to their characteristics. In addition, this chapter also describes other important properties of the planets that are related to their interpretation in the astrological chart.

Discover the basic characteristics
of astrological houses.
Astrological houses are the sectors of the birth chart where the planets are located. Each of the twelve astrological houses represents a specific area of life. Houses tell us in which areas of life the planets show their influence. The houses that contain the planets in a birth chart are thus especially important for the individual, since their energy is directed into those life areas.
This chapter contains descriptions of the individual astrological houses and their significance, as well as some categorizations of houses into groups according to their characteristics.

ASPECTS
Explore the meaning of aspects
in the astrological chart.
Aspects represent the geometric distance between individual planets or other points in the astrological chart (e.g., angles, asteroids, nodes, etc.). They are marked with lines that connect these factors between themselves. An aspect establishes a connection or a “conversation” between two factors in the chart, meaning that they affect each other and modify each other’s expression. Depending on the type of aspect and the similarity or the difference of the characteristics of the planets or other points that are in aspect, we can determine whether these two factors interfere with each other or help each other in their expression.
This chapter contains descriptions of different types of aspects. In addition, it also includes descriptions of major aspect patterns as well as descriptions of aspects between individual planets.

Discover the significance of angles
in the astrological chart.
Angles are sensitive points in the astrological chart. They represent the framework of the chart because they help us divide the chart first into quadrants, and then into individual houses. The chart has four angles; each of them represents the cusp of one of the four angular houses (at least in most systems of house division). The angular houses play an extremely important role in an individual's life, as they represent the four most important life areas: The First house represents the individual and their life path; the Fourth house describes their family life and their roots; the Seventh house represents important partnerships in their life; and the Tenth house describes their reputation, social status, and career path. The angles as the starting points of these houses describe the circumstances in the aforementioned life areas in more detail.
In this chapter, we are going to take a look at the individual angles and their significance.

LUNAR NODES
Learn about the meaning of
the nodes in karmic astrology.
The Lunar nodes are mathematical points that represent both intersections of the Earth's and the Moon's orbits. These two points are positioned exactly opposite each other. They are also known as the North and the South node. Their astrological significance is related to karmic themes. The South node represents our karmic patterns and themes from our past lives that we need to work on in this life. Transcending these patterns and themes is important for our spiritual growth, which is the main reason we incarnate on Earth in the first place. The North node represents how we can transcend our past karma and how we can work on our spiritual growth.
This chapter contains descriptions of the karmic meanings of both Nodes. The second part of the chapter is dedicated to the descriptions of the Nodes according to their positions in the signs and houses.

Familiarize yourself with
the principles of karmic astrology.
Karmic astrology explores our past lives. Its main aim is to explain what we came here to learn by uncovering the deeper layers of our natal chart. This branch of astrology offers a much deeper understanding of the birth chart because it can reveal our past life stumbling blocks and how they affect our current life. In short, it explains why we were born with the birth chart we have and in what way we can use our chart in order to grow and evolve.
This chapter includes explanations of the main philosophical principles behind karmic astrology, as well as descriptions of different parts of the chart that can be considered in the analysis and the different approaches we can take to karmic analysis.

ASTROLOGICAL TECHNIQUES
Delve into your chart with the help
of simple techniques.
In approximately four millennia of astrology, many different astrological techniques have emerged. Birth chart analysis is a process that each astrologer performs in their own way, depending on which analysis techniques are closer to them, as well as according to what kind of tradition and disciplines of astrology they practice. In addition to the very basic techniques used by all astrologers, there are also a whole host of additional techniques. No astrologer uses - or knows - every single one that exists. Learning astrology can therefore be an endless process of discovering new ways of analyzing a chart.
In this chapter, various techniques of astrological chart analysis are presented. The articles are written in such a way that you can use the presented information to help you analyze your own chart.

Read a selection of light-hearted
articles on astrological signs.
Astrology is a field of knowledge, which requires a lot of time and an in-depth study if we wish to really understand it. Astrology isn't taken seriously by the general public, because it often gets reduced to the twelve archetypes known as astrological signs. These archetypes contain a lot of truth, however, we must also be aware of their limitations, because in reality they only represent a very small part of astrological analysis. At the same time, these archetypes are also the most widely known part of astrology, which is why they are a popular subject of conversations and fun analyses.
This chapter contains articles that take a fun and light approach to astrological signs. We are going to take a look at the way different signs think and function and how the twelve archetypes operate when we apply them to different categories.
