In this series, we are going to take a look at the animals that correspond with the archetype of each sign. First, we are going to present a few general characteristics of every sign and then we are going to list the animals that match the description. For each sign, we are going to present either specific animals that correspond with the archetype or a group of animals that share particular characteristics of the zodiac sign.
Sagittarius is the wild child of the zodiac. This sign is known for its joyfulness, enthusiasm and its love of adventure, freedom and open spaces. So which animals share this energy?
HORSE
What else? Sagittarius is traditionally represented by a horse, the animal that symbolizes freedom and an untamed spirit. Just like horses, Sagittarius loves freedom and open spaces.
GOLDEN RETRIEVER
Honestly, most dogs could be included here but I am choosing this one specifically because it is widely known as a happy-go-lucky, good-natured, playful creature. Just like Sagittarius.
MIGRATORY ANIMALS
This group contains animals that travel over large distances. A few examples include zebras, sea turtles, seals and many species of birds. Like Sagittarius, they are born travellers.
EXOTIC ANIMALS
The more unusual, the better. The further away their home is, the more Sagittarius likes them; it gives them an excuse to pack their bag and travel to an unknown, faraway land.
