Animals: Virgo

In this series, we are going to take a look at the animals that correspond with the archetype of each sign. First, we are going to present a few general characteristics of every sign and then we are going to list the animals that match the description. For each sign, we are going to present either specific animals that correspond with the archetype or a group of animals that share particular characteristics of the zodiac sign.

Virgo is the worker of the zodiac. This sign is known for its hard-working, diligent and responsible nature, as well as an eye for detail. So which animals share this energy?

Eagle

EAGLE

At a first glance, this doesn't seem like the most obvious choice to represent Virgo but these birds see at least four times as much detail as humans. So do Virgos. It's a perfect match.

Ant

ANT

One of the most hard-working and organized animals. While everyone else is relaxing and enjoying the nice weather, ants are thinking about how they are going to survive the winter and worrying about putting aside a big enough stock. Exemplary representatives of Virgo.

Bee

BEE

Another animal that is basically always at work. They are not time-wasters, either: they have found a way to stop and smell the flowers while working. An exemplary level of efficiency. If bees go extinct, everything will fall apart, apparently. Virgos also live with this burden.

Service dog

THE HELPERS

This group includes all service animals and all emotional support animals. Why? Well, the words service and support should be clear enough clues. Also, these animals are hard-working: they are on-call 24/7 and it is their responsibility to make sure that people don't completely lose it/get lost/walk into a lamp post. Basically, these animals keep everything running smoothly in exchange for a small treat. They are incredibly underappreciated, yet where would the world be without them? And life is exactly the same for Virgos.
