Leo: your lesson plan

In this series of articles, we are going to explore the zodiac signs from a karmic perspective.

For a more in-depth explanation of my intention, read the article Zodiac signs and your lesson plan, which explains how the zodiac signs are interpreted in karmic astrology.

WHAT IS LEO ALL ABOUT?

Leo is the ruler. This archetype's main focus is to express their individuality and creativity and to feel appreciated by others. If you were born with planetary placements in Leo, you are meant to live through particular experiences that will help you learn about the matters this sign represents.

Karmically speaking, Leo is encouraging you to be confident, to put yourself out there and to become more visible. This sign is all about expressing themselves in an authentic way and receiving the support and admiration for who they are. You are supposed to embody this sign's energy and intentions in your current life.

WHAT IS THIS SIGN'S LESSON PLAN?

- to develop self-confidence

- to be proud of themselves

- to shine and be admired

- to be praised and beloved

- to self-express freely

- to enjoy life to the fullest

- to experience unrestrained joy

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT FOR YOU?

Because in your previous incarnations, you didn't really get the chance to experience what it is like to feel seen and to be valued by others for being you. You have either lacked these traits yourself or you may have existed in an environment that didn't put much (or any) importance on these things, so you were always just a part of the crowd and you didn't get the chance to shine. Perhaps others always came before you or you never had the courage to put yourself out there.

In other words, in your previous lives, it was never about you. You were someone who was left in the background while someone else got all the attention. Perhaps you had to hide your true self or you had to stay invisible because of something you did or because of your personal beliefs. Having had to remain in obscurity doesn't necessarily mean you had no impressive gifts/talents or an interesting personality; perhaps you were simply not quite ready to stand in the light back then. Perhaps that kind of existence was a form of protection because being in the limelight requires strength and confidence which you may have lacked. On the other hand, inconspicuousness may have been necessary for you - this may have been a requirement of your profession. Invisibility may have even saved your life at some point.

This kind of existence could have also left you with some deep wounds, namely thinking that you are not special or that you are less important than other people. You may lack belief in yourself, you may deal with severe confidence issues or you may feel incredibly exposed every time you are put in the spotlight because it is such an unfamiliar experience for you. The challenge you have to face this time around is to get rid of the limiting beliefs you incarnated with and to heal this core wound that is keeping you stuck in your old patterns.

SO WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO?

Try to do things differently this time around. Learn more about the sign of Leo and make

a conscious effort to embody its positive qualities.

At the same time, you shouldn't feel guilty about all the attention and admiration you are receiving. Remember, you have never had them before. It is your turn to experience what it is like to be special, to be looked at, to be listened to, to be admired and to be adored. This time around, your talents will not be overlooked; you have something special to offer and it is important that others see it. By experiencing this perspective, your soul is trying to balance out what it has experienced so far.

On the other hand, you may also have to face some negative consequences that come with being in the spotlight or in a leadership position. You may feel under pressure due to other people's judgments, due to the burden of leadership or due to jealousy of those who wish to be in your place. Such challenges are a part of life but you don't have to feel bad if your talents make others feel inferior. It is your turn. This lifetime is your moment to shine brightly.
